8: Price tag
A well-known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a dollar twenty ($20) bill, in the room of two hundred (200) people. Speaker asked, "Who would like this dollar twenty ($20) bill?" Hands started going up.
Speaker said, "I am going to give this dollar twenty ($20) bill to one of you but first, let me do this." He proceeded to crumple up the dollar twenty ($20) bill. He asked, "Who still wants it?" Still hands were up in the air.
"Well, what if I do this?" He dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. He picked it up, now crumpled and dirty and asked, "Who still wants it?" Still hands went up into the air.
My friends, we have all learned a very valuable lesson. No matter what was done to the money, it was still wanted because it did not decrease in value. It was still worth dollar twenty ($20).
Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way. We may feel as though we are worthless and useless.
But no matter what has happened or will happen, you will never lose your value: dirty or clean, crumpled or finely creased, you are still priceless to those who love you.
p/s: YOU ARE PRICELESS TO THOSE WHO LOVE YOU (:

6: Jarak
Mengapa demikian?” Guru bertanya sambil memerhatikan muridnya.
Mereka kelihatan berfikir panjang namun tiada seorang pun yang berani memberikan jawapan. “Kerana hati mereka begitu dekat, hati mereka tak berjarak. Sepatah kata pun tak perlu diucapkan. Sebuah pandangan mata saja cukup membuat mereka memahami apa yang ingin mereka sampaikan.”
Ketika kita sedang dilanda kemarahan, janganlah hati kita mencipta jarak.

Know that the reward for patience is greater than any little or big thing that may anger you (:

5: Do we realize?
How many reminders do we need to realize that the time keeps ticking on and on it’s passing by.
Every time the leaves change their colours,
every time the moon continues it’s cycle,
every time it’s someone’s birthday,
every time the sun rises again, it’s a sign of time passing,
a sign of us getting another step closer to meeting our Lord.
Every time the leaves change their colours,
every time the moon continues it’s cycle,
every time it’s someone’s birthday,
every time the sun rises again, it’s a sign of time passing,
a sign of us getting another step closer to meeting our Lord.
Indeed by time, mankind is in great loss.
p/s: We are the author of our own book of deeds that will be presented to us on the Day of Judgement. So, think about it, how's the "story" looking this far? :(
